Transcripts

Requests for transcripts must be made in writing and require the signature of the student. No one else can request your transcript for you. Since we must have your signature to release a transcript, we cannot accept telephone or email requests.  Please note that all financial obligations to the college must be cleared before we can release your transcript.

You may request your transcript by choosing one of the following options:

Online

Use Transcripts on Demand for the quickest and most streamlined ordering.

Eckerd College in partnership with SCRIP-SAFE International provides twenty-four hour access to online transcript ordering through a secure website.

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted.
  • You will be able to select the mailing options of USPS 1st Class Mail, USPS Express Mail, or electronic delivery.
  • Although you may order at any time, transcript orders are only received in the registrar's office and processed during regular working hours, Monday - Friday.
  • Transcript orders which include uploaded documents are best requested as separate orders since they may take slightly longer to process.

Online ordering offers you the option to have transcripts sent electronically to schools within a network of institutions or to individuals. Visit this website to see if your intended receiver institution is a member of the eScrip electronic network. If not, you should notify your intended recipient to expect an email message regarding the electronic delivery of your transcript. Encourage them to add the domain name of @eSCRIP-SAFE.com to their safe-sender email list.

Walk-In

You may stop by the PEL Student Enrollment Manager's Office in the Franklin Templeton Building and fill out a transcript request form.

Ordering Information

Please include the following information with your transcript request:

  • Full legal name
  • Name under which you attended if different
  • Social Security Number
  • Eckerd College ID Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Your current address
  • Your day and evening phone numbers
  • Address where the transcript is to be mailed
  • Dates of attendance
  • Degree and date awarded
  • Your signature authorizing the release of your transcript (We cannot process your order without this.)

The normal turnaround for transcript requests is 2-5 regular business days once your request is received. During our busiest times of the year (mid-December through January and mid-May through June), it may take a bit longer. Remember that mail delivery may be slower around holiday times so allow plenty of time for your request to be processed. If you need to meet a deadline, order your transcripts well in advance and let us know your deadline.

Transcript Fees and Services

The fastest and most convenient method of payment is by credit card through the online transcript ordering system, Transcripts On Demand. Otherwise fees may be paid directly to the Bursar's Office (800-456-9009, ext. 8321) or put on your student account if you are a current student.

(RUSH service: sent by Express Mail within 2 regular working days of receipt of request, Monday - Friday. We will try to send the same day if the request is received before noon, Monday - Friday.)
Fee must be paid in advance unless you are a current student.

Add $19.95 to RUSH fee

RUSH transcript (official or unofficial outside the U.S.) sent by Express Mail
(RUSH service: sent by Express Mail within 2 regular working days of receipt of request, Monday - Friday. We will try to process the same day if the request is received before noon, Monday - Friday.)
Fee must be paid in advance unless you are a current student.

Add $40.00 to RUSH fee
