Dr. Sara Hofmann is a licensed psychologist and a St. Petersburg native. She frequently teaches the department clinical course, Perspectives in Mental Health, and several statistics and research courses for the B.S. track.

Dr. Hofmann’s research interests include self-compassion, effective clinical intervention with at-risk and court-involved adolescents, trauma-informed services, and teaching medical residents to effectively identify and manage adolescent depression in their patients.

In her free time, she reads voraciously and runs long distances for fun.
