"John Eckert and His Students"
A Tribute to John Eckert '69 as Artist and Teacher

This exhibition will pay tribute to John Eckert (1947-1987) as a ceramist, painter, photographer and printmaker, and also will feature recent work by some of his students, among them Joy Brown '72, Bede Clarke '83, Susan DeMay '77, Ben Dimmitt '76, Scott Estes '86, Stanton Hunter '80, Kelly Mills '78, Beth Mueller '77, Ruth Huebner Seib '79, and Melanie Taylor '74.

6:00 p.m. Golden Triton Induction Dinner (Open to members of the Classes of 1964-1968)
The founding Class of 1964 will be honored on the 50th anniversary of their graduation from Florida Presbyterian College.

6:30 p.m. Eckerd Night Out at Ruby's Elixir Downtown
Meet up with Eckerd alums for a casual and fun party at one of Downtown St. Pete's best spots. Drink specials and raffle prizes! As a bonus, St. Pete's First Friday will be in full swing outside.

6:30 p.m. Class of 1979 Potluck

9:30 a.m. Alumni Awards Breakfast
President and Mrs. Donald Eastman will host a breakfast with an update on the state of the College and honoring five distinguished alumni.

11:00 a.m. Bayboro Campus Tour
Members of the founding classes who wish to see the College’s interim campus (now USF St. Petersburg) will be shuttled for a tour, followed by lunch downtown.

12:00 p.m. Picnic at South Beach Hosted by Marine Science
Join Marine Science faculty and students for a casual cookout at South Beach. Open to all alumni!

12:00 p.m. Waterfront Boat Tours
Stop by the Waterfront for boat rides on the half-hour and other activities.

3:00 p.m. Eckerd College Newspaper Alumni Network (EC-NAN) Reception
Current staff, former staff, and supporters of the Eckerd College Newspaper are invited to an informal reception in The Current's media gallery (located on the 2nd floor of Cobb). Contact Ashley Daniels '12 or Liz Tomaselli '13 for details.
