In accordance with the Campus Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990 and recent amendments known as the Cleary Act and associated amendments to the higher Education Act, Eckerd College provides information relating to crime statistics and security measures to prospective students, enrolled students, and employees. The Eckerd College office of Campus Safety submits an annual report on crime statistics to the State of Florida and beginning in 2000 to the Federal department of education.
