Friday, August 26th, 360 Eckerd freshmen went Into the Streets of the St. Petersburg greater community to offer a hand in helping over 26 great local organizations. Everything from planting in community gardens, helping sort clothes at the CASA thrift store, and making dinner for the homeless, these students donated hours of their time and sweat from their backs to give back to their new hometown. Pleased with their work, the students returned to Eckerd for a soul food dinner and reflection on the good they've done that day.
