HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate he played for Coach Tim Kelly at Trinity High School in Trinity, North Carolina ... was the 2004 Mr. Basketball in North Carolina averaging 27 points per game and helped propel his team to the 3A state championship.  Hit a North Carolina State record 416 3-pointers during his high school career.

PERSONAL: Son of Terry and Michelle King ... born August 24th ... majoring in business management ... has three brothers and sisters, Ben plays football at Appalachian State and was a member of the 2007 squad that defeated Michigan, other two siblings are Anna (20) and Chris (17)  … his mother was also a talented athlete playing on the Liberty University softball team where she earned All-American honors … a fan of Steve Nash, Terrell Owens and the Carolina Panthers, Josh enjoys watching football and playing tennis … when he graduates from Eckerd he wants to begin coaching and one day become a head basketball coach, either at the college level or professionally… he chose Eckerd because of Coach Tom Ryan and the coaching staff.
