Dear Triton Fan,

It's an exciting time to be a Triton!

The 2007-2008 academic year was a great one for Eckerd Athletics, both in the classroom and on our fields and courts. Eckerd placed more student-athletes on the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll than any other school in the league.  The basketball teams continue to shine and volleyball and men's soccer are forces to be reckoned with in the SSC.

We believe that excellence in academics and excellence in athletics are mutual goals. At Eckerd, we expect that our students will excel in their classrooms while competing on winning teams. Our mission is to prepare Eckerd College student-athletes to be leaders in our global society.

Under the leadership of President Donald Eastman, Eckerd College is raising the bar in athletics. We are committed to excellence in athletics, and this means we can expect tremendous growth in all facets of intercollegiate athletics.

To accomplish our mission, we need you.  Building a program of the highest caliber is expensive. We invite you to join others in the Eckerd College Triton Club to help us take athletics to a higher level. The Triton Club is Eckerd's athletic booster club, created to raise funds for athletic scholarships and operational support, as well as to generate school spirit and increase attendance at games.
