AS A FRESHMAN (2006): Benoit started her collegiate career like a seasoned veteran. In her first year for the Tritons she earned Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year honors as well as being named on the All-Freshman Team. She played in 114 games...led the team in attacks with 444 kills averaging 3.89 kills per game...collected a total of 36 service aces with .32 per game...had 339 digs during the season with 2.97 digs per game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Benoit attended Suncoast High School where she lettered in varsity volleyball for 4 years. She was captain of her volleyball team which won the Class 4A State Championship in 2006. Benoit was player of the year, first team all state, first team all county, and first team all conference. She also belonged to national honor society and participated in Operation Smile.

PERSONAL: Born June 8, 1988…majors in Sociology…favorite subject is math…favorite food is ice cream…favorite sport is volleyball…favorite types of music are rap and oldies…favorite movie is Lion King 1 1/2. After graduation she sees herself going to graduate school.
