As a Freshman (2006-07): All-SSC Freshman Team selection … was third on the team in scoring … averaged 7.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game … scored in double figures in six games … missed a month due to injury … played in 23 games and started one … scored a season-high 19 points and led all scorers against UPR-Mayaguez (11/22/06) going 5-for-8 from the floor and 9-for-11 from the free-throw line … also added four boards in the game … scored 13 points twice, once at Saint Leo (01/10/07) and again at Barry (01/31/07) … pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds against UPR-Bayamon (11/25/06) … played a season-high 33 minutes and scored 11 points against Florida Tech (02/07/07) … led the Tritons in scoring in three games and in rebounding four times … third on the team in 2006-07 in 3-point percentage (31%), free-throw percentage (70.1%), total points (172), scoring average (7.5 ppg), rebounds (4.8 rebs/g), and in blocked shots (13).
High School: A 2006 graduate, she played for Coach Holly Ismail at the West Boca Community School in Boca Raton, Florida … she was named Player of the Year her senior season … also bowled competitively and was named Bowler of the Year.
Personal: Daughter of Richard and Frances Infantino … born on October 30th … majoring in Communications … has one sister who was a bowler for Morehead State University … a fan of Pete Webber and the Miami Heat, she enjoys bowling, recreational basketball and watching movies in her free time out of the classroom and off the court … feels that her face-up game and versatility will be strong assets for the Tritons … when she graduates from Eckerd she wants to be successful … she chose Eckerd because, to her, it’s home.
