Community College of Rhode Island (2005-07): In two years playing for the Knights, Kinney was named to the All-New England First Team both years … helped her team finish third in the nation in 2006 … She posted 515 points and 325 rebounds during her time as a Knight … Kinney ranked in the top-4 in every major statistical category for her team both her freshman and sophomore years … she averaged double-digit scoring both years … second on the team her first year with a 10.7 points per game average which rose to 11.7 ppg the next year … a strong rebounder, she averaged over eight boards as a freshman and six rebounds as a sophomore … a part of almost every play in her second season Kinney jumped to the top of the assist charts leading the team averaging 2.5 per game. 

High School: A 2005 graduate, she played for Coach Adrienne Olcot and Tara Kemple at Delaware Valley Regional High School in Milford, New Jersey … a First Team All-Conference selection her sophomore, junior and senior years she is a member of her school’s 1,000 point club.

Personal: Daughter of Don Kinney and Beth Ann Eichlin ... born April 1st ... majoring in International Business ... has one brother, Donnie (24) … a fan of Michael Jordan, Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat, she enjoys making jewelry in her spare time … she feels her versatility is an asset for the Tritons … when she graduates from Eckerd she will look to enter her field of study or possibly become a Jeweler … she chose Eckerd because she felt it was the right fit for her.
