HIGH SCHOOL: Murphy attended St. Dominic's where she lettered in both basketball and soccer for the Bay Hawks. She won the NYS Federation title her sophomore year in basketball. In soccer she was All-League and a 2005 Wendy's Heisman Nominee. She was a member of the Student Ambassadors, SADD, FBLA, Science National and French Honor Society. She was an honor roll student for four years, on the Dean's List for two years, and a three-year member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Major is undecided....Favorite athletes are Mia Hamm and Allen Iverson....Favorite subject is Science....Favorite foods are spaghetti and Taco Bell......Favorite type of music is alternative and rap....Favorite movie is Pretty Woman.....Enjoys going to the beach, skimboarding, snowboarding, and watching movies.
