AS A SOPHOMORE (2006): Played in 123 games in the 2006 season...led the Tritons in service aces with 41 averaging .33 per game...was also a team leader in digs with a total of 460 which averaged 3.74 per game.
AS A FRESHMAN (2005): Played in 91 games as a freshman...collected 285 digs for an average of 3.13 digs per game, good enough to place her second on the team...had her best performance of the season in a win at South Carolina-Aiken, notching 14 kills and 15 digs...was named to the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: Busse attended Waupun High School where she lettered in varsity volleyball for four years. She was named All-State and All-Conference for three out of the four years. She was captain of the Warriors and helped lead the team to four consecutive state championships. She was selected on the All-Tournament team at State for two of the four years. Busse was the first volleyball player ever in the state of Wisconsin to win four consecutive state titles. She was also a member of the FBLA and the National Honor Society. Busse was an Honor Roll student all four years at Waupun High.
PERSONAL: Born December 9, 1986...Major is undecided....Favorite athlete is LeBron James....Favorite subject is Psychology...Favorite food is Crab Rangoon and any kind of potatoes.....Favorite type of music is country....Her hobbies include drawing, reading, any type of physical activity, and going to the beach....Upon graduation she hopes to attend graduate school.
