AS A FRESHMAN (2006):  Seeing limited time behind starting setter Shannon Ruby and seeing some time behind the service line, Golovkin played in 83 games in 2006...had a high 330 assists at 3.98 assists per game...earned 26 service aces during the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Golovkin attended El Dorado High School where she lettered in varsity volleyball for two years. She was captain and MVP of her varsity team, on the 1st team all league, and was on the All-Tournament Team for two years at the Redondo Classic.

PERSONAL: Born September 1, 1988… majors in marine biology…favorite athlete is Peekabo Street…favorite subject is science…favorite food is hamburgers with peanut butter…favorite sport is volleyball…favorite type of music is country…favorite movie is Little Giants. After graduation she hopes to live somewhere by the water or maybe attend graduate school.
