Hello, my name is Shane Graves and I am delighted to help you figure out if Eckerd can help you develop as an individual and achieve your goals, in college and beyond. A 2021 Eckerd Graduate myself, I traveled over 1,200 miles from Massachusetts to study Psychology and Political Science in the scenic St. Petersburg area. This experience is not uncommon at Eckerd College as our adventurous students travels over 1,000 from home on average to attend Eckerd. This creates a truly unique and accepting learning environment where students can learn not only from our excellent professors but from each other.

Our students are passionate, innovative, and involved. One of the things that attracted me to Eckerd was the wealth of opportunities to get involved, both on campus and in the local community. As a former member of Eckerd College Search and Rescue, the only collegiate maritime search and rescue program in the nation, I would love to talk with you about the team or any one of our other over 100 student clubs and organizations. I would encourage prospective students to explore the wide array of activities and leadership opportunities that help make students time on and around our Bayfront campus so exciting and enjoyable.

Choosing a college is a difficult decision, but we are here to help! If you have any questions about the school or the application process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me through phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you!
