See the world

Choose from 300+ destinations

Imagine studying the ocean from a 134-foot two-masted ship. Or watching the fireworks on Chinese New Year from a rooftop in Shanghai. Or browsing the colorful stalls of London’s Covent Garden Market after class.

Every year, hundreds of Eckerd students set off for parts unknown. Why not join them?

Eckerd students can study in Cuba through a joint program with the University of Havana. These are among the first trips Americans have made to Cuba in 50 years.
London Study Center: Study the history and culture of Britain and see world-class art and theatre while living in a 200-year-old Georgian row house.

Three-week travel terms

Most Eckerd students study abroad during the three-week Winter Term in January or Spring-Into-Summer Term in May. We can also arrange for semester- or year-long study at dozens of universities, from France to Fiji.

Want more? Check out our alternative spring break service trips, which take students to places like Mexico, Guyana, Iceland, Panama and Cuba. Do good, feel good, travel.

Study abroad and still graduate in four years

All study abroad courses earn academic credit toward your degree (except our alternative spring break trips). Your faculty mentor can help map out an academic plan that includes study abroad.
