This interest grew, and by his sophomore year, he had quickly become one of its co-presidents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Originally from Souderton, Pennsylvania, and now living in St. Petersburg, the <\/span>international relations and global affairs<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>French<\/span><\/a> graduate works as a pickleball instructor and finds himself returning to the place where his passion for growing food began.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was super different back then,\u201d he explains. \u201cJust a ragtag group of people interested in gardening. We did a lot of failing, but it was a great learning experience and really changed my life.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Though he began his studies majoring in <\/span>marine science<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>environmental studies<\/span><\/a>, hands-on work in the garden shifted his interests toward sustainable agriculture. Before the canopy fills in, you have to stay on top of it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
