Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema

Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema is an initiative to bring world-class ballet, direct from the legendary Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, exclusively to cinema audiences around the world. Each production features a complete performance plus behind‐the‐scenes, interviews with cast and creative teams and other bonus content.

OLLI at Eckerd College broadcasts encore (recorded) presentations of the original live performances, scheduled at convenient dates and times for OLLI audiences, on the Eckerd College campus in the Dan & Mary Miller Auditorium. Learn more about the venue and ticketing.

Each broadcast is filmed in front of a live audience at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, and cameras are carefully positioned throughout the theater to ensure the cinema audiences get the “best seat in the house” view of each production.
