Eckerd’s dedication to the liberal arts means our programs focus on creative, innovative curriculum in the liberal arts tradition. With a strong emphasis on small classes, our exceptional faculty know and care about the success of every student.
All courses are six-day, five-night residential programs unless otherwise noted.
June 17-22, 2018
Explore the human side of the impending environmental crisis through discussions and activities rooted in the humanities––history, literature, film, cultural studies and philosophy. Throughout the program, you will examine how our culture shapes our relationship to the natural world and how exactly you can respond to environmental issues.
June 10-15, 2018
Participate in our hands-on curriculum in the field, on the water and in the lab, using the same equipment that faculty and undergraduates use, as you explore all our waterfront location has to offer. Marine Science on Florida’s Gulf Coast is adopted from our undergraduate curriculum for Marine Science majors.

Work with Eckerd College faculty in this seven-day, six-night residential program. Gain experience in a wide-variety of orchestral repertoire and learn about succeeding as a musician, whether professionally or as a hobby. The week culminates in a Friday evening concert open to the public.

Develop and hone your writing talents in poetry, fiction and nonfiction. You’ll generate new work, examine your writing through small-group workshops and explore what it means to be a part of a larger literary community.
