Young Writers’ Workshop

Students will spend the week with Eckerd College Creative Writing faculty exploring the craft of creative writing, focusing specifically on fiction, nonfiction and poetry. Through discussions of published work, you will examine how writers create vivid and engaging art. After discussions, writing exercises held both in the classroom and out will begin to challenge you to write your own creative work using the skills learned from the class discussions.

Come prepared to engage deeply with creative writing all while exploring the different genres.
