Forest Rosenfeld joined the faculty at Eckerd in 2021. She got her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Florida, with a concentration in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. She is an experimental psychophysiologist working in the area of cognitive and affective neuroscience in humans. Her expertise lies in fear learning, attention, and face processing. Her recent post-doctoral research bridged into the field of Psycho-Oncology, with a particular focus on mental health of cancer survivors.
Forest’s passion for research translates to her passion to mentor students in the laboratory and in the classroom. She is currently teaching Introduction to Psychology and Biopsychology. She is enormously excited to introduce students to the world of Psychology and intrigue and challenge students with the concepts and principles of Neuroscience/ Biopsychology/ Physiological Psychology.
