One of the greatest things a person can share is hope. There has been no other greater offering of hope than when I heard Dr. Wiesel speak after reading his book Night in Western Heritage. To live through such a horrendous experience as he did and to come away with hope for humanity was so impressive for me as an 18-year-old. Instead of choosing a selfish course of life after losing so much, he chose to give all he could to impress upon college students that we must never forget and we must always hope.
