Eckerd Students Wayne Sears and Woody Taylor Named to National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court

Eckerd College men's basketball student-athletes Wayne Sears and Woody Taylor have been named to the 2010-11 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court. The NABC Honors Court is comprised of men's basketball student-athletes who are a junior or senior academically and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher during the 2010-11 season.

Sears, a Business Administration major, and Taylor, an International Business major, helped Eckerd attain a 22-8 record during the 2010-11 season and a berth in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament championship game. Sears finished the season ranked third on the team in scoring (10.2 points per game), while Taylor led Eckerd with 82 assists.
