A Good Egg

Responsible Meg has always taken care of her bipolar, younger brother Matt. But when she decides to get pregnant and have her embryos screened for bipolar disorder, is she taking the idea of "being responsible" too far? A funny and surprising play about bioethics, siblings, and the limits of unconditional love.

A Simple Theatre cast of Good EggGood Egg will be directed by Gavin Hawk, Artistic Director of A Simple Theatre and Assistant Professor of Theatre at Eckerd College, and will star Meg Heimstead and Christopher Jackson.

About A Simple Theatre
Created by Tampa Bay area artists in 2011, A Simple Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded on the belief that great theatre is rooted in the simplicity of compelling stories told by talented storytellers. Focusing on excellent acting, intelligent direction, elegant design, and brilliant modern playwrights, our productions will challenge, provoke, and emotionally engage our audience.

In April 2013, A Simple Theatre entered into an agreement with Eckerd College to produce its plays in Bininger Theater on the Eckerd College campus. This new relationship is recognized as "A Simple Theatre in residence at Eckerd College."
