The EC MakerSpace offers a place for Eckerd students, alumni, faculty and staff the opportunity to build projects, explore technologies and learn about topics ranging from 3D printing to wood working to graphic design. Take a virtual tour inside EC MakerSpace.
The grand opening of the space was November 2016, and with your support the space will continue to grow and meet the Eckerd community needs. We hope to increase resources for students to do research and develop major projects, to embrace science through hands on activities, and provide the opportunity for students to gain specific technological skills along with their liberal arts degree.
