Family Weekend 2022

In lieu of an in-person Family Weekend this year, three virtual seminars will be offered to families. Please mark your calendar with the following dates and times. An email with your individual Platform Q log-in will be sent on the day of the event. Each session will be recorded so that those who cannot participate at 3 p.m. EST will be able to watch the presentation at their convenience.

Monday, March 7, 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Please join President Fern├índez as he offers a State of the College and an update regarding the strategic plan, “Onward: Strategy in Action, Eckerd College, 2021-2026.”

Wednesday, March 9, 3:00 – 3:30 p.m.

During this seminar, Career Services staff will review the various ways they support students from their first year through graduation and beyond.

Thursday, March 10, 3:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Anxiety and stress among college students are at an all-time high. During this seminar, Associate Dean for Counseling, Health and Wellness Services Amy D. Falvo, Ph.D, will share strategies for helping your student manage stress and anxiety. She also will share with you well-being resources on campus so that you can encourage your student to seek support if needed.
