We receive many marine electronics, accessories, and surplus marine inventory throughout the year from individuals and corporations who support our efforts.
These items are stored and then placed on sale at our very popular Annual Marine Yard Sale.
The Waterfront Program is an important part of Eckerd College and remains true to its founding principle: “Education through Service.” While providing a reprieve from the rigors of the classroom, it also provides students with an added extracurricular dimension — a chance to learn lifetime sports and make valuable contributions to the community.
Our Fundraising efforts are vital for the continued success of our programs. We receive donations of boats, trailers, and engines throughout the year and we also sell these items on a daily basis. We use many boats, trailers, and engines in our program and when we are able to replace them with newer versions, the used ones are added to our listing of items for sale. This is especially true with our Mercury Engines. We try to keep them limited to a low number of hours so that they are able to be sold in good condition.
We sell boats, engines, and trailers year-round! Our inventory changes weekly through sales and new donations, so it is important to check with us on a regular basis to see what is available.
