Boston-Area Endowed Science Internship Award

The Boston-Area Endowed Science Internship Award was inspired by the success of the Massachusetts General Hospital internship program for Eckerd students established in 2010 by Sue Slaugenhaupt ’85 (P ’20). This fund supports students who wish to participate in science-related internships in the Boston area, including the MGH internship. Thank you for your gift!

Giving to Eckerd through the Web is easy, secure and convenient. Your gift will be processed, and a formal receipt will follow in the mail. If you don’t want to contribute online, we’re happy to accept your gift by phone or mail.

Eckerd Trustee Sue Slaugenhaupt ’85 (P ’20), scientific director of the Mass General Research Institute at MGH, founded an internship that has allowed 87 Eckerd students (most of whom are now alumni) to conduct medical research in Boston since 2010.
