My name is Sofie Alexander, and I am excited to be your admissions counselor and to help you through your application process! I am a recent graduate from Eckerd College, and I’m very excited to work at Eckerd so soon after graduating. Eckerd has provided me without countless opportunities that have changed my life for the better. I am originally from New Jersey, and understand why most students travel over 1,000 miles to study at our beautiful school. That is one of the many reasons I love Eckerd.
Without Eckerd, I would have never been able to achieve a degree in Chemistry and Political Science within four years. I would have never learned the importance of a liberal arts education and what amazing experiences you can gain from it. Aside from my degree at Eckerd, I was also an Eastman Leader, a leadership opportunity at Eckerd that helps you grow as a leader and create a leadership project.
I am excited to be an admissions counselor to bring students from far and wide to Eckerd’s beautiful campus. I am a firm believer that Eckerd is a school to express yourself and find out who you are. I am very fortunate to be working at my alma mater. I am excited to be here to help you through the admissions process and answer any questions you may have for me.
