Applying to Eckerd

We have two application options: Early Action or Rolling Admission. Both programs are non-binding and do not require a decision from the student until May 1. We accept either the Common Application or our own Eckerd Application.

Students can apply as a first-year, transfer or international student.

Honors

We know you’re always looking for programs that challenge and inspire your brightest students. Our Honors Program is specifically designed for those high schoolers who are ready to push their academic boundaries and delve deeper into the liberal arts.

Scholarships
and Aid

97% of Eckerd students receive financial aid. Approximately $48 million in financial aid was awarded last year.

Assistance packages may include a combination of scholarships, grants, work aid, and loans.

The average award last year from all sources was $38,500.

Pre-college

Pre-College at Eckerd offers high schoolers the opportunity to experience academic and residential life in our one-week programs in June.

These academically rigorous hands-on programs allow students to experience college-level courses to help prepare them for their future.

Data-driven success

Data from the Eckerd College Class of 2023 displays the many ways in which Eckerd alumni succeed.

  • Just under 90% of 2023 grads were employed, continuing their education, in the military, or engaged in other career opportunities within six months of graduation.
  • Of those employed, 89% of graduates were hired within 4 months of graduation.
