Biography

Lisa R. Miller earned her Ph.D. from Indiana University-Bloomington. Her teaching and research interests include gender, sexualities, intimate relationships, aging and the life course, health, and research methods. Her recent research examines complex changes in women’s sexual well-being as they age. Much of her other work focuses on the aging, health, and healthcare experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals, wherein she examines the nature and consequences of prejudice and discrimination against gender and sexual minorities.
