Stephanie Mallinas joined the faculty at Eckerd in Fall 2021. Originally from
New Jersey, she comes to Eckerd after spending several years in North Florida. She regularly teaches Social Psychology, Statistics for Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, and Contemporary Issues in Psychology.

Dr. Mallinas leads the Social Cognition and Intergroup Processes Lab at Eckerd College. Her research examines how ideological and moral beliefs influence prejudice, stereotyping, and other forms of social judgment. She enjoys collaborating with students on this research. In her free time, Dr. Mallinas enjoys reading, snuggling with her two dogs, and spending time on the water.
