Student Refunds

Notification of withdrawal and requests for refunds must be in writing. Eckerd College must make commitments to faculty and staff ahead of student enrollment, and as such, only a partial refund of tuition will be made if a student leaves for any reason prior to the end of any semester. This refund schedule is applicable to tuition only as fees are non-refundable after the first day of classes has passed.

Please note that students who receive financial aid and choose to withdraw or take a leave of absence may have their financial aid adjusted or reduced, which could result in an outstanding balance owed to the college. We encourage you to contact the Financial Aid Office to discuss how a withdrawal or leave of absence may affect your financial aid eligibility and account balance.

Students withdrawing during an academic semester, tuition refunds will be calculated from the second day classes start for the semester, and are applicable to tuition only.
