Assistant Professor of Psychology
After working as a therapist and educator for several years, Sara Hofmann taught in the Eckerd College psychology department from 2012-2014 and joined the faculty full-time in 2018. She currently teaches Abnormal Psychology and several statistics courses. Sara’s research interests include self-compassion, effective clinical intervention with at-risk and court-involved adolescents, and trauma-informed care for children and adolescents. In her free time, she reads voraciously and runs long distances for fun.
